Holy Dirt is a vibrant, funny and beautifully episodic outdoor performance playfully exploring the mythic feminine figure as she struggles ridiculously through our climate catastrophe.
The Work
Holy Dirt is in the early stages of the R&D. Holy Dirt is, part vaudeville, part performance art and all entertainment. An international co-production, Holy Dirt aims to explode onto the scene in the UK, India and South Korea in 2025/26.
The Artists
Holy Dirt brings together two seasoned international artists Vidya Thirunarayan, a Bharata Natyam dance performer and ceramicist, and Physical Devised theatre pioneer David Glass to make an unclassifiable theatre treat.
The Sharing
This sharing is an opportunity for us to view with you how this interdisciplinary language that is infused with the cultures of the East and the West comes together, to connect -we aim -powerfully with audiences of all kinds.
