Join us for this stunning winter event that brings the community together.
Soak up the atmosphere and watch the hundreds of twinkling lanterns as the procession travels through Newbury town centre in our popular, annual Festival of Light.The procession will travel along Northbrook Street before arriving in the Market Place with live music and a festive atmosphere.
In the run up to the event, we will be offering lantern making workshops with schools, community groups and the general public. Book your free slot on one of our Lantern Making workshops or Lantern Making for the Brave workshops to secure your space.
This popular winter event brings together the local community to celebrate the festive season.
Lantern holders will gather at the clock tower on Northbrook Street from 4pm, ready for the candle-lit procession to begin at 4.30pm.
