On the 2nd February 2022, 101 Outdoor Arts - National Centre for Arts in Public Space held a hybrid symposium to launch their newly commissioned national strategy report 'Outside the Conventional and Into the Mainstream - Arts in Public Space in England' downloadable here.
In this symposium a mix of live panel sessions and round table discussions drew together representatives from artists, commissioners and funders to explore the themes outlined in the paper. Watch the videos below.

How can arts in public space programmes help in creating a sense of place and reflecting identity and why is this important. How might this shape the nature of the work artists make?
