The Work

DIRT, a circus adventure underground, is an immersive, multi-sensory performance and installation for intergenerational audiences, inspired by Lewis Carroll’s classic tale. With aerial circus, puppetry, immersive design & an audio describing earthworm, DIRT invites audiences to fall down the worm-hole and journey underground into the living ecosystem of the soil, exploring our connection to the earth & each other.

This is a first draft of the show (approx 35mins plus 25mins at the end to explore the set and engage in creative activity and feedback). She Said Jump will share some questionnaires before and after the performance which will help them find out what people think about the show and the ideas they're exploring.

She Said Jump is an aerial theatre company bringing together the silly, the serious & the spectacular to tell engaging stories that tackle challenging themes with a playful touch. We fuse physical theatre, clown, circus and puppetry to create a performance language that connects to audiences across generations, designing original equipment that helps to integrate aerial circus with storytelling.
