Without Walls and 101 Outdoor Arts

Green Production Lab 2021

Monday 8th Nov 2021 — Wednesday 10th Nov 2021, 101 Outdoor Arts Creation Space

Building on the success of the first Green Production Lab online event, this 3-day residential hosted at 101 Outdoor Arts offers a chance to spend time with peers from across the sector to explore how to understand and reduce carbon impact, build sustainability practice into the heart of your work, and promote sharing and re-use across festival networks.

This opportunity is designed for production management professionals working across the Outdoor Arts sector who are committed to making sustainable changes to their events and organisations. We are seeking participants who work professionally in a production management role, either freelance or associated with a venue or organisation and have practical and recent work experience in the outdoor arts sector.

Whilst the programme was designed with event organisers in mind, the sessions will also offer useful learning to those working with touring artist companies.

The programme will include practical and informative workshops covering key topics in sustainability practice and coaching and leadership skills, as well as offering space for peer-to-peer discussion and relationship building through informal activities. Participants will also have the chance to check out the latest in sustainable energy technology.

There is no cost to attend the event which is inclusive of accommodation and food provided on site at 101 Outdoor Arts. Additionally, a travel bursary will be available to support the cost of attendance. If you are interested in joining, please complete the application form and send to us via email by Monday 18th October.

We are interested in attracting a diversity of voices and particularly welcome applications from individuals that are currently under-represented in the sector.
