Mo And The Red Ribbon

Saturday 30 September 2023, Newbury Town Centre, 7pm

Free (no booking required)

Follow the journey of Mo - a child refugee separated from his family and his fantastical journey towards a new life.

Over a promenade route through the centre of Newbury, French artists L’Homme Debout tell Mo’s story through a beautifully crafted giant puppet and a sequence of colourful and larger than life scenes.

A joyful, childish, playful and poetic show that combines spectacular staging and emotional storytelling, Mo and the Red Ribbon explores the experience of migration from a child’s perspective, offering an ultimately optimistic look at the world we inhabit and those we share it with.

This processional performance will start at 7pm at Newbury Clock Tower and end by The Wharf.

Duration: 1 hour and 15 mins

Town centre car parks are available, but the Wharf Car Park will not be in use.

The Corn Exchange and 101's outdoor programme is supported by Arts Council England and Greenham Trust.

Pizza Lola will be outside the Corn Exchange serving a range of delicious wood fired Pizzas.
